Stylistically, South African wines can be said to occupy the middle ground between Old World and New. Structured for elegance and food compatability, but also expressing fruit-driven, prominent varietal characteristics. From young, fruity every day styles to the complex and layered examples further up our range, we have put together a selection of wines which we feel reflect not only the character of the grape varieties and the regions, but also the skill and passion of the dedicated winemakers working in the Cape today.

You won’t find our wines in the usual high street outlets or supermarkets - please tell us if you do! Indeed, we are sole UK distributors for the excellent range of red single varietals and blends from Umkhulu. And we are not stopping there. Our list is something which we see evolving over time. Obviously wines will be removed as they become no longer available, but also new labels will be added as and when we discover producers and wines which in our opinion show the stylish and elegant nature which makes South African wines so distinctive and so - how shall I say - good!!
