An excellent example of the "Mediterranean" blends coming out of South Africa.

An complex intriguing blend of Chenin Blanc (48%) Chardonnay (41%) and Viognier (11%). The three components are barrel fermented and matured separately for 9 months before careful blending and bottling. The result is a beautiful rich, weighty mouthfeel, with green apples and zesty acidity from the Chenin, a creamy edge from the Chardonnay and a lovely aromatic twist from the Viognier. Well integrated and un-showy oak and great length.
